The contract was signed by Sales Director Jens Hasselbächer and Schalke Marketing Director Alexander Jobst in Gelsenkirchen on 16.01.2019. The contract runs for four years. The esport servers are hosted here: ==

R + V will be the main sponsor of the jersey of the three Schalke Esport teams (League of Legends, Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA). In addition, R + V is named after the "R + V Gaming House Berlin", in which players prepare for competitions.


The traditional esport club founded its own Esport department in 2016 and is now one of the top clubs in USA. The popularity and fame of the Esport teams of Schalke goes far beyond the regional boundaries of the football club and achieved by participating in international leagues and tournaments and the European market.
