About Us

We are Decoded Hub, a Social community established on 11/08/2014. Primarily, we are an open community that aims to simply provide a stable social network of adult gamers that play games fair! We try to focus more on play as a team with our members and improving their in game skills and life skills rather than playing specific games for the hell of it, so our gaming support is special for everyone. We provide various resources that enable our members to play online together and we encourage the use of these resources so that our members can participate in games with other like minded gamers.

In essence all gamers are welcome regardless of their games and clan affiliation, however more dedicated membership is restricted to dedicated Decoded members. As our aim is to facilitate gamers themselves, our gaming support can be quite dynamic and even a bit random, however in order to maintain stability and drive we do focus our gaming support on a few games that a large majority of the community will be playing or are playing currently. Despite our social gaming background we do try to accommodate all types of gamers from casual to to more dedicated and competitive gamers. As such we offer try to offer regular gaming events and competitions as well as offering various Levels of membership to reflect each members needs and level of commitment.

Requirements and Expectations

Although we are open to all, it doesn't mean we are suitable to all, or that we will allow trolls to join our ranks, We are only interested in fair people (non-cheaters) who want to be here for social & friendly gaming, who are also prepared to be patient and demonstrate a reasonable level of common sense. We aim to accommodate adult/mature gamers but as we have no age restrictions or requirements, we must insist that members of this community respect this and behave in an appropriate manner and are mindful of younger community members.

We are not looking for only professional gamers, although gaming skill does impress us and is not something we priorities in our membership criteria, and we are not looking for players who simply want to own/ troll/annoy other gamers. Also players who are just looking for a clan to join to play their favorite game with for 5 minutes will not get very far within this community. Finally, we take a dim view of players who take games too seriously or put their own in-game needs ahead of other members of this community.

We are a social group that are looking for respectful, fair and decent people who enjoy a laugh and a bit of banter with while playing our favorite games. This community is meant to provide a "home" for gamers to meet new friends and explore new games with. The whole community is built on the principals of honesty, loyalty and integrity. We expect patience and fortitude and we reward endurance. Genuine people who respect this will feel at home here.

Game Support

As game support trends are very dynamic and most games tend to have short life spans and in line with our main aims and objectives, we adopt an approach that offers our members a more suitable solution. Our approach is to adopt game support, that offer more diverse and dynamic methods of supporting titles. These games then naturally grow or decrease in popularity in accordance to our members’ interest and activity which dictates the focus the game receives within our community.

This means that effectively games are only limited only by our communities active members and their interest in the title. This approach means we can effectively support many different titles simultaneously, we don’t suffer from inactivity problems between major game releases and have fewer risks when supporting new games. It also supports our main principle of focusing on social gaming between members of the community, rather than simply specific and individual games. Ultimately this usually means we can provide a much more stable and suitable service to our members as we can provide support and resources for any game they are interested in playing. This is one of the major differences between us and a standard gaming clan.

Naturally there are always going to be campaigns that anchor our community and get more focus, those being our primary campaigns which are usually the most widely supported and active games among our community, especially those within our clan, These primary games are dedicated more resources to reflect their activity, popularity and longevity within our community.

Membership Levels

The level to which a gamer wishes to be involved or commit to our community is entirely up to them. We aim to accommodate all kinds of gamers and their needs by offering a range of different scales of membership, ranging from casual "community" memberships, to more dedicated and exclusive levels such as "6" and "7" Levels that represent our members who have mad long affiliations with the clan/community.

Our membership Levels make it easy to identify the level of input, commitment and loyalty members have offered the community as well as giving a general reflection of their participation within our community so far. This helps us identify, reward and reflect as fairly as possible each member based on their input and involvement with the community.

For example, by simply joining this website, using our forum and Teamspeak servers or by playing on our gaming servers occasionally; a player would be considered to be a part of the community and being involved. This would mean they are at entry level within the Decoded Hub as community" member (Level 0).

This is our most basic and casual level of membership that suits those who are simply interested in the occasional good-game with decent people or those who wish to be involved without the hang-ups of committing to a clan. There are no commitments or requirements expected of many of our lower levels of membership other than the ability to respect our basic and common sense conduct rules (See rules page).

For those gamers that wish to dedicate a little more time and be part of a longer term, more organised or strategic group, we offer more committed or dedicated levels of membership that starts with a standard Level 1, which allows more serious integration within the community and offers more rewards, awards and participation in competitive events. Longer serving Affiliates gradually achieve Level 2 and become eligible for further progression, if they wish to do so.
