Hello! My name is Dayton, I’ve been playing League since preseason 5.
Up until 2022 I strictly played the game casually and had no desire to climb past gold, (have to get that end of season skin!). Recently I’ve developed quite a passion for improving my individual skill, I wanted to impress friends initially, however I am now on a goal to take full accountability for my play and improve and learn during every match. 2022 is when I decided I would try my hand at climbing in solo queue. I reached platinum in 2022 and since have been working on learning and adapting to the more talented players in high platinum/diamond. I’ve been impressed with my performance so far, and in the early season I pushed my way up to platinum 1. After the LP changes were implemented this season I ended up frustrating myself and made the mistake of continuing to play without a perfect mental. This caused me to drop back to platinum 4. I see myself attempting another solo queue climb eventually, however, I’ve really found my motivation in working as part of a cohesive team. My main goal at this time is to participate in a team that is all working to improve together so that I can play in various tournaments and conventions in the Dallas area. Although I have not climbed solo to a high elo, I am very confident that I can perform under pressure against players ranked up to grandmaster and challenger.
I have a relatively broad playstyle and champion pool, however, I am strongest as a mid lane control mage. I am not confident in my top lane or adc play, however I can confidently play jungle or support. I am open to being coached and would love to grow as part of a team. I’m pretty easygoing despite my competitive nature. I understand mistakes and misunderstandings and am willing to work through issues as they come without passive aggressiveness or drama.
