Being able to coach and help manage a serious, determined team that wants to learn and practice, and willing to appreciate what I have to offer. Most of all, I would like to see my methods and experience translated into a team that can win without me.
Note: Despite my pseudonym and profiles, I like to preemptively explain that I am biologically male and don't throw my voice or act in a different way despite carrying myself in a more feminine way often, and that my name and my circumstances do not affect my methods or ability to coach and manage. I don't bring personal requirements or needs into a team environment, and expect teammates to see me as a teacher or coworker, not a boy or girl.
25 years old, American, west coast NA, Peak 4028 Widow/McCree hitscan main with arthritis and RSI issues, have mostly given up on ladder and DPS in competitive environments in favor of coaching and analysis. Five year veteran of the Air Force studying for teaching with a lot of experience in military history and strategic theory, and I appreciate and enjoy a sense of coordination and teamwork alongside being able to motivate and inspire students or team members. I have practiced most heroes with exception to a few to mid/high master with DPS and main support (plus filling in general) my primarily played roles in GM and can fill most roles alongside higher ranks also, with lots of time spent playing and learning from professionals in west coast NA ranked after they moved there from OWL.
Very good at explaining concepts and ideas and putting plans and strategies to specific verbiage, as well as experience from the military in planning and execution of decided on targets, having worked in aircrew intel with two deployments to Qatar to fly sorties over Afghanistan, as my speciaization was insurgencies and the Taliban, and so my analysis of fights and battles stem from a standard understanding of military history and a more professional understanding of modern asymmetral warfare.
Before OW I played other shooters casually and Final Fantasy XIV seriously before the expansions, maining healers and having completed extremely difficult content less than 1% of the playerbase had before the difficulty was reduced in the expansion, which required learning, coordination, teamwork, and most of all dealing with people I didn't necessarily like.
Additionally, lots of time spent optimizing the Overwatch client and a strong understanding of the game's technical side and limitations.
<-- Willing to participate financially minimally, but not necessarily requiring any payment or investment unless there is real income.
Personal challenge and favorite achievement: GM with widow, no swaps all seasons (not even forced off or locked to ruin my hours), using teamwork and communication to make up for that limitation and especially my physical limitation in terms of injuries. While I don't find 4k neccesarily impressive, 4k after fracturing my right arm last year and recovering, while playing on of the hardest heroes in one of the worst metas (s9 dive) for her is impressive to me, at the very least. ****
