I wanted to reach the rank of Grand champ and them potentially compete for money and get recognised

I have been playing rocket league for a long time however, I stopped playing for a while and now I'm playing it again and I wanted to play with a team to improve. I'm currently D2-D1 and I have only just started to play again so I think with time I can reach champ.
