To gain experience as a team player and as an IGL

Hi! My name's Sam, I go by Ride in game and I'm 20 years old. I've been playing Valorant since the Beta when I started as a Breach main, but I've slowly been taking on other agents like Phoenix, Reyna, Sage and Yoru to help myself in solo queue, where my peak rank is Diamond 1. Alongside my university work, I spend roughly 30-35 hours in game a week, a little of it is in spike rush or deathmatches for warmup, the rest is mainly unrated.

Before Valorant I used to play some in collegiate Overwatch tournaments, where I learnt the basics of fps, combining that with a little bit of CS experience meant it was easy to develop my gamesense in Val, where I started taking eSports more seriously. Once the game was fully released, me and some friends formed a new team competing nationally for our university in NSE's seasonal tournaments, where we came 22nd and 19th out of roughly 90 teams. Part of our success was due to us practicing some very basics strats and agent comps I'd come up with based on our individual agent pools. From both that and my former Overwatch team I've gained a small amount of experience as an IGL.

Going forward, I'm interested in finding another team to join in order to gain more experience as a player and an IGL, that might hopefully translate to my own individual performance. Also looking for similarly interested people, and a bit of fun.
