The Mission of Ballistic Impact is to provide a fun, welcoming, semi-serious environment for anyone who enjoys tactical shooters, and ARMA 3 in particular. From newcomers to enthusiasts, all are welcome here. We believe gaming is something to be done to relieve stress, get away for some time, or just for plain fun. We choose to focus on individual skills and unit cohesion to provide the best experience for everyone.

Greetings! I’m The Legionnaire (formerly Cipher), the Clan Leader for Ballistic Impact. We are the ARMA 3 Chapter of the Impact Gaming Community (IGC). Ballistic Impact looks to provide a fun and welcoming environment for those who enjoy the game. We seek to appeal to both the casual player looking to practice or train as well as the semi-hardcore gamer who wants to be part of serious operations. Whether you are new to the game or a long time veteran that has been with Arma since the days of Operation Flashpoint, this is a place for anyone to come and play, learn, discuss, etc.
We play in realistic scenarios and a realistic environment. To that end we use a variety of mods to increase the realism and immersion of our operations and with that comes the use of more realistic practices (tactics, strategy, etc). We often look to modern military practices to maintain a better understanding of the battlefield; however, we will never do something simply because “that's how it’s done in real life”. We want to bring you an experience that is fun and enjoyable at any skill level and that means cutting out practices that don’t apply to our circumstances, so we can leave all the “tactical fluff” behind and just focus on enjoying the game.
