Vancouver Elated is the esports branch of Team Elated Esports Inc based in Vancouver BC. It was through Microsoft’s community events and The Gaming Stadium’s epic tournaments that a group of locals took aim at reaching new heights for esports in Canada, especially in the city of Vancouver that’s hungry for more esports action. At Vancouver Elated we strive to create a community where everyone comes together to enjoy a common passion: gaming. Regardless of age, gender, and whatever labels society may seem to put on people—everyone is equal to us. No gamer shall be left behind. We are dedicated to building a lasting legacy in esports and connecting to the greater Vancouver community.

Our ideal is to make a positive impact on the esports scene and show the world that Vancouver Elated is a name to remember. With pro rosters to lead with example, we want to show the world that we want to do right by everyone involved in our operations, especially our players. No-one in VE will be treated as a tool for making money, and we will never take more than 10% of event winnings from our Pro teams. No matter what the game or scale of the tournament, we want anyone who plays or works for us to feel at ease that they are treated fairly and earn what they deserve to earn. We believe in having a healthy friendship to base a work relationship on.

VE is partnering with the Vancouver Esports Association to make the push for getting esports into the school system and community properly. The cultural shift has been evident around the globe; kids dream about being the next Ninja, big influencer, or content creator in hopes to make it to the esports scene. More and more game designers have already started pouring from Vancouver! Clubs to start in primary schools with seasonal events for whole school districts; classes for esports related subjects from competitive gaming to business, in high school and post-secondary, complete with teams that can compete in provincials just like other students do in other sports—these are all methods for proper school integration, and it is as simple as making the equipment and services available to schools to get the ball rolling. Gaming changes lives, it creates a multitude of new careers, and it brings opportunities for the whole community to grow closer. This city deserves to highlight the start of that movement in Canada.
