Lyon College

I am the Head Esports Coach here at Lyon College. Lyon College is a small private college centered in Batesville, Arkansas at the base of the Ozarks.

We are a brand new program that will be recruiting for the 2019 fall semester as well as the 2020 academic year. We are currently recruiting for the following teams:
League of Legends
Overwatch
Rocket League

We do offer some scholarship opportunities to our students. No ranked requirements have been set because we want to hear from you all. Skill isn't always indicated by rank but it is a good starting point so please let me know your ranks! We are looking for every position currently.

Our goal is to help improve each player as a competitor, teammate, and individual as a whole. We are looking for players that show good attitude and willingness to work with and help others. We are in the process of creating a gaming center here on campus that will provide 15 setups with keyboards, mice, pads, headsets, and chairs. Sponsorship talks are in the works and we should have our center up and running SOONtm

A bit about myself as the head coach: Again I am Austin "Shot" Lonsert, I was on challenger level teams as ADC and Support in LoL when I decided to move into Heroes of the Storm (RIP). I played HOTS competitively for about 5-6 years. I won the 2016 Heroes of the Dorm Championship for Arizona State University. With these credentials I believe I have the ability to create a program that will help players move forward in their education while also gearing them ready for a competitive career.
