Welcome to Checkmate! GLT is hosting a new "Swiss" style format to bring out teams from all around the world!

NA vs. EU has been a rivalry of the ages, and we all wanted to see it this summer at the RLCS World Championship. So GLT is doing it for you!

Checkmate is a new style of play. NA is the Queens, while EU are the Kings. Teams who outperform their counterparts will earn promotions to Bishop, followed by Rook, ended by Knight. The more you prove yourself on the field will determine the amount of promotion you see in streams, videos, and montages. Grind it out to be the top Knight team in the world, and take home the Queen or King prize by winning the World Championship

All teams are required to be in NA or EU, and must register for the correct regions Checkmate league.
All teams (1 player) must have a working digital money collection app (Paypal, Venmo, etc.).
All players must agree to the #rules and refrain from breaking any, with permanent consequences for breaking them.
Each member must resort to rule 1 in Game Lobby Tournaments, and that is FUN.
Teams must be eligible at least once a week to play each of their matches, and double forfeits will occur in the case that the matches do not go on.

Each team must pay an entry fee of $2, in this case to @tHeD4rKstORm [GLT] , in which you must dm him to pay your fee.
