WE NEED 64 TOTAL PLAYERS This league is an 8-team esports league with a max rank of Platinum 3. The first year of the season will take place in 2022 with the regular season taking place in the summer. Leading up to that however, there will be player showcases which any player will be able to participate in. These showcases will be a display of talent and ability of players to the team captains so that the captains can decide who they want on their team. Then, there will be the league opening draft, which will be all of the teams put in a random order, to draft all 6 members of their team (7 people on a team including captains who will not just handle the team but will also play). During the draft, when teams are selecting they will have 2 minutes to contact me with a selection and if they fail to do so, their pick will be postponed to the very end of the draft after all other picks are made. The draft and all games will be streamed live on my YouTube channel: LiamTacoPerson. After the draft, each team will be able to practice at any time they would like together in any way they would like. There will be two divisions in the league being the Ruby Division and the Emerald Division with 4 teams in each division. The regular season will be 17 games long for each team. During the regular seasons there will be at least two games per week for each team with two teams through the first four weeks playing 3 games. There will be 8 weeks of the regular season, with a 4th of July break from July 1st- July 6th. The playoff will be the top two teams from each division playing each other in the semifinal with the two winners advancing to the championship. During the season, captains are allowed to trade and release players but by the start of each game they must have 7 players on their roster. Players who are free agents are welcome to send me recent game clips so I can compile film of them for captains to look at and the current free agent market as well as active rosters will be public at all times. The schedule rollout will work like this: at the very beginning of the season, I will announce which teams will be playing which each week, however, times and dates will not be announced until closer to that week. Players can leave their team at any time as long as they acknowledge that resigning from the team doesn’t guarantee them a spot back whenever they would like and that they must alert their captain or me before resigning. Captains can also leave at any time, however, they must assign a new captain and tell me as soon as they do so. After you resign from a team you or the captain must contact me about this and the changes the team makes to fill the gap. Trades are allowed to be made until the end of WEEK 6! Any trades made after this will be void. Free agents are allowed to be signed at all times as long as there are fewer than 7 players on the team’s roster. After the season, trades will be made available again and will remain available until week 6 of the following season. There will be offseason free agent player showcases and next year, there will be another draft held where any team with less than 7 players will fill their roster by drafting from the free agent market using the same format as the first draft.
